An airbag vest has to fit closely to work well, and that's harder when the cut wasn't made for your body. Furygan's Fury Airbag Lady is a women-specific-fit version of its electronic airbag vest, built on In&motion's detection system and sized S to 2XL.
Before you budget for one, know what's in the box and what isn't. The vest includes a back protector and its first inflator, but the In&motion control module that makes it work is sold separately. Furygan's listed price is €369.90; it hasn't published a U.S. price.
The short version
- What it is: an electronic airbag vest worn under a compatible jacket, cut for women.
- Protection zones: neck, chest, abdomen and back.
- Fit: women's-specific shape with ultra-stretch side panels and a compression fit.
- Included: a Level 1 In&motion back protector, the first inflator and access to the My In&box app.
- Not included: the In&motion control module, sold separately.
- Reuse: up to five deployments before a factory check, per Furygan.
- Price: €369.90 listed by Furygan; no U.S. price published.

Why a women's cut matters for an airbag
An airbag vest only protects well if it sits where it's supposed to. A vest that gaps at the chest, rides up at the waist or bunches at the hips can shift in a crash or be uncomfortable enough that you leave it at home.
Furygan's answer is a women's-specific pattern with ultra-stretch side panels so the vest hugs the torso, plus mesh and airmesh panels for airflow. Furygan says the surface is 100% ventilated, which matters for a layer worn under your jacket in summer.
Fit is personal. Try it on with the jacket you plan to wear over it.
How the system works
The vest is the bag and the hardware that holds it. The brain is In&motion's control unit, which reads motion data and decides when to fire.
- Module: the In&motion box clips into the vest. You buy it separately.
- Inflator: the vest ships with its first gas inflator. Furygan says it can be replaced in under a minute after a deployment.
- Modes: five detection modes: road, track, adventure, motocross and adventure race, each tuned for a different style of riding.
- Deployments: up to five before the vest needs a factory check, according to Furygan.
Furygan quotes a deployment time under 0.06 seconds and up to 30 hours of battery life. Those are maker figures, not independent test results.
The total cost question
The €369.90 price is for the vest. To make it work you also need the In&motion module, which In&motion sells separately, and replacement inflators after each deployment. In&motion's U.S. page lists the vest as a compatible product but doesn't give a U.S. price or say which retailers stock it.
Before you buy, add up:
- The vest
- The In&motion module (or a plan that includes it, if In&motion offers one in your market)
- Replacement inflators, which you'll need after any deployment
Jacket compatibility
In&motion lists the Fury Airbag Lady as worn under a jacket that meets its compatibility requirements. A jacket that's too snug won't leave room for the bag to inflate.
If you're buying the vest for a jacket you already own, check In&motion's compatibility guidance first, or bring the jacket when you try the vest on.
Ratings and approvals
Furygan says the vest is FIM-approved for speed championships except MotoGP and JuniorGP, and In&motion's page shows a 5-star SRA rating. The back protector meets Level 1 of its standard.
Racing approval and lab ratings are useful signals, but they aren't the same as real-world injury data, and no rating guarantees protection in every crash.
What we don't know
- U.S. price and retailers
- Module purchase or plan pricing in the U.S.
- Independent crash data for this specific vest
Bottom line
Furygan's Fury Airbag Lady is a women-specific electronic airbag vest covering the neck, chest, abdomen and back, worn under a compatible jacket. It's listed at €369.90, but the In&motion module is extra and no U.S. price is out yet.
