Honda’s 2027 CB750 Hornet Gets Four New Colors in Europe, With No Mechanical Changes

Honda's CB750 Hornet gets a fresh look in Europe for 2027. On September 8, 2026, Honda Motor Europe announced four new color schemes for the 2027 CB750 Hornet and said the bike's mechanical specification is unchanged. It stays available with a conventional clutch or Honda E-Clutch.

This is a European update. Honda hasn't announced U.S. 2027 colors or pricing for the Hornet.

The short version

  • What's new: four two-tone color schemes for the 2027 European CB750 Hornet.
  • What isn't: the 755cc parallel twin and the rest of the mechanical spec carry over, per Honda.
  • Clutch choice: conventional manual or optional E-Clutch in Europe.
  • U.S.: no 2027 announcement yet. The current U.S. bike is the 2026 Hornet E-Clutch.
2027 CB750 Hornet in Europe: four new color schemes in black, silver, blue and red two-tones; mechanically unchanged 755cc twin per Honda Europe; clutch or E-Clutch, both versions remain in Europe; no U.S. 2027 colors or price announced

The four color schemes

Honda lists:

  1. Gunmetal Black Metallic with Ballistic Black Metallic
  2. Mat Beta Silver Metallic with Iridium Gray Metallic
  3. Glint Wave Blue with Mat Ballistic Black Metallic
  4. Grand Prix Red with Gunmetal Black Metallic

No mechanical changes

Honda says the 2027 CB750 Hornet is mechanically unchanged. It keeps the 755cc parallel twin Honda describes as "modern, dynamic and torque-rich."

In Europe, buyers choose between the conventional clutch and E-Clutch, which handles the clutch for starts, stops and shifts while you change gears with your foot. Some early coverage suggested the 2027 bike would be E-Clutch only; Honda's release says both versions remain.

What it means in the U.S.

Honda's U.S. lineup currently lists the 2026 CB750 Hornet E-Clutch at $7,999 plus destination, in Matte Nightshade Blue or Black. Whether the 2027 U.S. bike gets any of these European colors, or keeps a conventional-clutch version, hasn't been announced.

In Europe, where Honda calls the 2027 bike mechanically unchanged, waiting is mainly about paint. For U.S. buyers, there's no 2027 information yet to weigh against a 2026 bike on the floor.

What we don't know

  • U.S. 2027 colors, price and timing
  • European prices, which vary by country

Bottom line

Honda Europe's 2027 CB750 Hornet adds four new two-tone color schemes with no mechanical changes, and keeps the choice of conventional clutch or E-Clutch. U.S. 2027 details haven't been announced.
