Honda showed a motorcycle at a fashion show. On September 23, 2026, during Onitsuka Tiger's Spring/Summer 2027 womenswear show in Milan, Honda premiered the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept: a mid-size sport bike finished in Onitsuka Tiger's signature Tiger Yellow with bold black stripes.

It's a concept, built for a collaboration between two Japanese brands. Honda hasn't announced plans to sell it.

The short version

  • What it is: the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept, based on what Honda calls a mid-displacement sports model.
  • Where: world premiere in Milan, September 23, at Onitsuka Tiger's runway show. Honda's release followed on September 24.
  • Look: Tiger Yellow base, black stripes down both sides, black wheels with yellow accents, and both brands' logos.
  • Also: Onitsuka Tiger released footwear and apparel featuring Honda's Wing Mark.
  • Not announced: a production model, price, U.S. availability or the donor bike's exact model and engine.
Onitsuka Tiger Honda concept: premiered in Milan on Sept. 23, 2026 at Onitsuka Tiger's runway show; Tiger Yellow with black stripes on a mid-size sport base, donor not named; apparel with Honda's Wing Mark is the product for sale; no production, price or U.S. plan announced
Honda Motor Europe release, Sept. 24, 2026. A concept motorcycle; no sale announced.

The concept

Honda describes the bike as a concept based on a mid-displacement sports model. It didn't name the donor bike or its engine size in the release.

The design is the point. Honda lists:

  • Tiger Yellow as the base color, Onitsuka Tiger's signature shade
  • Bold black stripes extending across both sides
  • Black wheels with Tiger Yellow accents
  • Both brands' logos on the wheels

Some early coverage guessed at which Honda it's based on. Honda's release doesn't say, so we won't either.

Why a shoe brand?

Onitsuka Tiger, founded in Kobe in 1949, is the Japanese sneaker and fashion label known for its yellow-and-black styling. Honda was founded in 1948. Both companies point to their shared postwar Japanese roots.

Honda says the collaboration aims to "create opportunities for more customers around the world to experience motorcycle culture as something closer and more accessible." Putting a motorcycle on a fashion runway is one way to reach people who might never walk into a dealership.

The apparel side is real product: Onitsuka Tiger introduced shoes and clothing with Honda's Wing Mark. That's separate from the motorcycle, which is a show piece.

Will you be able to buy one?

Nothing in Honda's announcement says so. There's no:

  • Production plan
  • Price
  • Release date
  • U.S. availability

Brand collaborations sometimes lead to limited-edition paint schemes on production bikes, and sometimes they don't. If Honda decides to sell a version, it'll announce it separately.

What it means for riders

For now, this is a styling exercise and a marketing partnership, not a model to shop for. If you like the look, the Onitsuka Tiger apparel is what you can actually buy.

If Honda later offers a special-edition finish on a production bike, the practical questions will be the usual ones: price over the standard model, how many will be made and what it costs to repair or replace custom paint. Special-edition paint can cost more to fix after a tip-over, which is worth asking an insurer about.

What we don't know

  • The donor model and engine
  • Whether any version reaches production
  • Where the concept goes next after Milan

Bottom line

Honda premiered the Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept, a Tiger Yellow mid-size sport bike with black stripes, at Onitsuka Tiger's Milan show on September 23, 2026. It's a collaboration concept with matching apparel. Honda hasn't announced a production version, price or U.S. plans.
