Indian Motorcycle will show its first 2027 model-year news at the EICMA show in Milan on Tuesday, November 3. The company confirmed the date in an October 8 release that also put numbers on its European sales: up in seven of its ten biggest markets there, down in two.
What Indian didn't say is which models are coming. "First wave of its MY27 news" is all the release offers, so anything you read before November 3 about specific 2027 Indians is speculation.
Key points:
- When: press conference at 11:45 a.m. Milan time on November 3, Hall 22, Booth 195. That's 5:45 a.m. Eastern, 2:45 a.m. Pacific.
- What: a business update and the first 2027 model news. No models named.
- Europe: growth in seven of the top ten markets through August; France and Italy down.
- U.S.: no U.S. sales figures, prices or 2027 availability in the release.
Converting the EICMA start time
Time zones are slightly tricky that week. Europe leaves daylight saving time on October 25 and the U.S. follows on November 1, so by November 3 both sides are on standard time, six hours apart on the East Coast.
- Milan (CET): 11:45 a.m.
- Eastern (EST): 5:45 a.m.
- Central (CST): 4:45 a.m.
- Mountain (MST): 3:45 a.m.
- Pacific (PST): 2:45 a.m.
Indian's release lists the press conference for media. It doesn't say whether it will be streamed, so plan on reading about it over breakfast rather than watching it live.
Indian's European numbers
Indian published a year-on-year comparison for its ten largest European markets. Its footnote matters: the figures are a like-for-like comparison of the current product portfolio, to the end of August. They're percentage changes, not unit sales, and they don't include the last four months of the year.

- Biggest gains: Romania (+60.7%), Poland (+52.6%) and the UK (+39.4%)
- Middle of the table: Czech Republic (+20.1%), Spain (+14.0%), Germany (+11.1%) and Sweden (+7.9%)
- Flat: Switzerland (0.0%)
- Down: Italy (−3.9%) and France (−15.3%)
Romania and Poland are what CEO Mike Kennedy called "younger territories." Big percentage jumps are easier to post from a small base, and Indian didn't publish the unit counts behind them.
Kennedy also said the Indian Scout platform is "the market leader in the European mid-size cruiser segment," outselling comparable Harley-Davidson and Honda models. That's Indian's claim. The release doesn't name the data source, the segment definition or the period.
First EICMA as an independent company
Kennedy described this as Indian's "first time at EICMA as an independent motorcycle company." Indian became a stand-alone business after its sale earlier this year, when an investment group took majority control from the former parent company.
He named three platforms the company will keep developing: Scout, Chief, and the PowerPlus Baggers and Tourers. Indian will also mark its 2026 King of the Baggers championship, won by the Indian Wrecking Crew on the Challenger.
That list is a reasonable guide to where 2027 news could land, but it isn't a product announcement. Indian hasn't said whether November 3 brings new models, new trims, new colors or updates to existing bikes.
If you're shopping for an Indian now
A model-year reveal in early November is a useful date to keep in mind if you're close to buying.
- Ask what's changing before you sign. If the 2027 news touches the bike you want, a dealer may know more by mid-November.
- Weigh a 2026 deal against waiting. Outgoing model-year bikes are often where the discounts are. Once 2027 details are out, you can judge whether the new version is worth the difference.
- Get the insurance quote on the exact bike. Rates are set for a specific model and value, so quote the actual trim and model year you're buying, not a placeholder.
What we still don't know
- Which models are part of the first 2027 wave.
- U.S. prices and arrival dates for anything shown in Milan.
- Unit sales behind the European percentages, and full-year 2026 results.
- Whether the press conference will stream publicly.
