Lone Star Rally Returns Nov. 5-8: What Galveston Riders Can Verify Now

Illustration of a Gulf Coast seawall at sunset with palm trees and a line of headlights, headline Bikes take over Galveston, Nov. 5-8, 2026

Galveston's Lone Star Rally is back November 5–8, 2026. The organizer's homepage lists bike and car shows, a rodeo, Miss Lone Star, tattoo and sound contests, national and regional bands, and "hundreds of vendors." Passes are on sale now.

Ahead of the rally, here is what the official site actually confirms, what it doesn't, and what's worth settling before you tow a bike to the island. The organizer information below is supported by the saved October 1, 2026 homepage capture; prices and promotions may have changed.

The short version

  • Dates and place: November 5–8, 2026, Galveston, Texas.
  • What's listed: bike and car shows, rodeo games, Miss Lone Star, tattoo and sound contests, concerts and vendors.
  • Passes: several VIP options are sold. They are optional extras, and the homepage doesn't say general entry requires one.
  • Not confirmed here: parking rates, street closures and rules, lodging availability. The organizer links separate pages for these.

What the VIP products are

The site sells these (prices as listed in the October 1 capture):

  1. All Access Platinum, $225. Everything the All Rally pass offers, plus Seawall concert series priority access, front-row access for Gretchen Wilson on Thursday night, a T-shirt, drink tickets, a dining credit and Pleasure Pier access.
  2. All Rally Balcony Access Pass, $195. VIP access across all four days, with balcony viewing at three venues on The Strand and the Miller Lite stage, private bars and lounges, and a daily menu.
  3. One Day VIP Pass, $85. The same venue access for a single day.
  4. Seawall Concert Series passes, $35 per day or $75 for Thursday through Saturday. Closer access to the Progressive Stage concerts.

The page lists these as VIP perks. It doesn't say what ordinary admission to the rally costs or whether general access to the streets is free, so check that before assuming either way.

Accessibility note from the organizer

The organizer's accessibility notice says that because some events are held in historic buildings, not all rooms are accessible to people with disabilities, and that elevator access is available only at the Roof Garden. It lists 386-682-9582 for questions. If you plan to use a VIP venue and need accessibility, call first.

Rolling Texas: a way in with a Harley dealer

The saved October 1 homepage also described Rolling Texas, with a stated end date of October 15, 2026. It described dealer QR-code check-ins, ten qualifiers for the rally and prizes including a 2026 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy and a $5,000 gift card. This was the organizer's announced promotion; the capture does not establish its results or current entry availability.

What I couldn't confirm

Two pages that matter for planning, the parking page and the map page, returned errors in earlier checks and were not re-fetched for the saved source capture. So there are no verified parking prices, lot locations, street-closure details or traffic rules here. The homepage lists parking passes as a separate product, and links an event map and an "official parking locations" page.

Treat anything else you read about island parking, road closures or alcohol rules as unverified until you've seen it on the organizer's pages or the City of Galveston.

A planning checklist

  1. Lock lodging first. The site links condos and rental houses, RV and tent camping, and a hotel search. Availability for a major rally weekend isn't shown on the homepage.
  2. Decide how you'll get to the island. Riding in versus trailering changes your parking plan.
  3. Check the official map and parking page yourself before you travel.
  4. Look at the band schedule the organizer links under Entertainment.
  5. Pick your passes only after you've confirmed which events you'll actually attend.
  6. Plan for the cold and the wind. November on the Gulf can be mild or raw, and no forecast is available this far out.

Insurance, briefly

Rallies bring dense traffic and parked bikes. Before you go, check whether your policy covers theft or damage while parked away from home, and whether your coverage extends to a trailer if you tow. Your insurer or agent can answer both. Nothing in the rally's pages addresses insurance, and no coverage promise should be assumed.

Bottom line

Lone Star Rally runs November 5–8 in Galveston with shows, music and a rodeo. The official site confirms the program and VIP options, but parking, maps and general-admission terms weren't verifiable when checked. Confirm them on the organizer's pages before you load the bike.
