Budget electric dirt bikes are everywhere online, and the SYKERUNS X7 is a good example of what the category promises and where to read the fine print. SYKERUNS lists the X7 with a 60V, 27Ah battery, a 5,500W peak motor, hydraulic disc brakes and 17/14-inch wheels. Its U.S. store showed $1,699 when checked on October 7.
The most important line on the page: the X7 is sold for off-road, trail and private-property use only.
The short version
- What it is: an electric off-road dirt bike with foot pegs and a thumb throttle, not a pedal e-bike.
- Battery and motor: 60V 27Ah (1,620 Wh) lithium-ion; 5,500W peak. Continuous power isn't listed.
- Claims: up to 57 mph and up to 60 miles, as separate maximums.
- Hardware: front and rear hydraulic discs, inverted fork, rear shock, 70/100-17 front and 90/100-14 rear tires, three speed settings and reverse assist.
- Size: 32.7-inch seat, 143 lb, per SYKERUNS.
- Price: $1,699 on the U.S. store when checked; ships to the lower 48 states.
- Use: off-road and private property only. Not approved for public roads or bike lanes.

Reading the specs
Peak vs. continuous power. 5,500W is a peak figure. Motors make peak power only briefly. SYKERUNS doesn't list continuous (rated) power, which is a better guide to sustained performance on long climbs.
Top speed vs. range. "Up to 57 mph" and "up to 60 miles" are separate best cases. You won't get 60 miles at 57 mph. SYKERUNS itself says range varies with speed, hills, rider weight, temperature and riding style.
Weight basis. The 143-lb figure doesn't say whether it includes the battery or how it was measured.
None of these numbers have been independently tested here.
Off-road only means off-road only
SYKERUNS says the X7 is for off-road, trail and private-property use only. That has practical consequences:
- No street riding. It isn't approved for public roads or bike lanes.
- Trail rules vary. Public trails and riding areas may require registration or an off-highway vehicle permit. Check your state and local rules.
- Insurance. A street-motorcycle policy may not cover this off-road bike; confirm the vehicle and intended use with the insurer. Ask about off-road or recreational vehicle coverage, and check your homeowner's or renter's policy, which may exclude motorized vehicles.
Buying online
SYKERUNS ships from a U.S. warehouse to eligible addresses in the 48 contiguous states, in two packages. It lists a 2-year limited warranty on the frame and 1 year on the motor, battery, controller and charger. Before ordering, find out who handles warranty repairs and where you'd get parts, since there's no dealer network.
What we don't know
- Continuous motor power
- Battery safety certifications
- Real-world range and speed
Bottom line
The SYKERUNS X7 is a $1,699 (when checked) electric dirt bike with a 60V battery, 5,500W peak motor, hydraulic brakes and 17/14-inch wheels. Its speed and range numbers are maker maximums, and it's sold for off-road and private-property use only.
