Triumph's latest Factory Custom is a café-racer take on the Speed Twin. The 2027 Speed Twin 1200 TFC adds fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, Akrapovič silencers, clip-ons and rearsets, and carbon bodywork to the Speed Twin 1200 RS. Triumph is building 750 worldwide, each numbered. Triumph's U.S. page lists it from $21,995.

The short version

  • What it is: a limited, factory-custom version of the Speed Twin 1200 RS, the fifth model in Triumph's TFC (Triumph Factory Custom) line.
  • Production: 750 worldwide, each with its number laser-etched on the billet top yoke and a certificate.
  • Suspension: Öhlins 43 mm fork and twin Öhlins shocks with external reservoirs, adjustable for preload, compression and rebound.
  • Brakes: twin 320 mm discs with Brembo Stylema M4.30 calipers.
  • Exhaust: twin Akrapovič titanium silencers with carbon end caps.
  • Price: from $21,995 on Triumph's U.S. page.
Speed Twin 1200 TFC: 750 worldwide, numbered on an etched top yoke with certificate; Ohlins suspension and Brembo Stylema brakes, fully adjustable with twin 320 mm discs; clip-ons and Akrapovic silencers, 31.9 inch seat and 471.8 lb wet; from $21,995 in the U.S., no U.S. date yet

What the TFC adds

The TFC builds on the Speed Twin 1200 RS with:

  1. Öhlins suspension at both ends: a 43 mm upside-down fork and twin rear shocks with external reservoirs, all fully adjustable
  2. Brembo Stylema M4.30 radial calipers on twin 320 mm floating discs, with a radial master cylinder
  3. Akrapovič titanium silencers in brushed finish with carbon end caps
  4. Clip-on bars and rearset footpegs for a lower, sportier riding position
  5. Carbon-fiber mudguards, heel guards and side panels
  6. A leather and suede bench seat
  7. Obsidian Gold paint with gold-anodized fork legs

The clip-ons and rearsets are the change you'll feel most. They make this a more committed riding position than the standard Speed Twin's upright bars.

Size

Triumph's U.S. page lists a 31.9-inch (810 mm) seat height and a 471.8-pound wet weight.

U.S. models use standard LED front and rear turn signals, according to Triumph's press kit, rather than the multifunction lights fitted elsewhere.

About the power figures

Triumph's own numbers don't line up. Its U.S. page lists 106 HP (77.2 kW), but 77.2 kW works out to about 103.5 hp; its U.S. narrative text says 104 HP, and the global press kit uses a PS figure. Until Triumph corrects the spec sheet, we're not quoting a single number. Triumph hasn't said the TFC makes more power than the Speed Twin 1200 RS.

Availability

Triumph's press kit gives an October 2026 delivery plan for the UK. It doesn't set a U.S. date. Triumph's U.S. site directs buyers to authorized dealers. With 750 bikes for the whole world, ask your dealer early whether they have an allocation.

Before you buy

  • Get the full price. $21,995 is a starting price, before destination, tax and fees.
  • Sit on it. Clip-ons and rearsets aren't for everyone, especially on longer rides.
  • Talk to your insurer about value. A numbered, limited-production bike with premium parts can cost more to repair or replace than a standard model. Ask whether agreed value coverage is available so a total loss pays what the bike is worth.

What we don't know

  • U.S. delivery timing and dealer allocations
  • A corrected power figure
  • Independent testing

Bottom line

The 2027 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 TFC is a 750-unit, numbered factory custom with Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema brakes, Akrapovič silencers and clip-ons, listed from $21,995 in the U.S. Triumph hasn't published a U.S. delivery date.
