The 2027 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is mostly a new look. Ducati announced on September 24 that the sportiest Multistrada gets a fresh livery borrowed from its MotoGP and World Superbike race bikes, plus a wider set of factory options for wheels, seats, carbon parts and luggage.
The 2027 bike is already at European dealers. In the U.S., Ducati's Pikes Peak page still shows the earlier livery and no 2027 price, so American riders are waiting on the details that matter most.
Key points:
- What's new: a race-inspired livery by Centro Stile Ducati and Drudi Performance.
- Factory Made options: red forged wheels, red or black calipers, seats of different heights, more carbon fiber, auxiliary lights and a full luggage set.
- Europe now: available at European dealers and configurable online, per Ducati.
- U.S.: no 2027 MSRP, arrival date or confirmed U.S. spec posted when we checked October 8 and 10.
The livery and what you can add at the factory
Ducati says the new paint draws on the Desmosedici GP and Panigale V4 R ridden by its factory teams. The standard bike keeps the Pikes Peak's existing trim pieces: carbon-fiber parts, a street-legal titanium Akrapovič silencer, a low smoked windscreen, gold-anodized Öhlins fork sliders, a seat with the V4 logo and a Ducati Corse badge on the "beak."
Through its Ducati Factory Made program, Ducati says buyers can add:
- Red forged wheels to match the livery
- Red or black brake calipers
- Seats in different heights
- Extra carbon-fiber parts
- Auxiliary lights
- A full luggage set with side panniers and a top case
These are options, not standard equipment. Ducati hasn't said which of them will be offered on U.S. bikes or what they cost here.

Hardware: what Ducati lists for 2027
The Pikes Peak is the Multistrada with 17-inch wheels front and rear, a single-sided swingarm, higher and more rearward footpegs, and a lower, narrower, flatter handlebar than the regular Multistrada V4. Ducati's 2027 equipment list includes:
- Engine: 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo
- Suspension: Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 semi-active, 170 mm of travel front and rear
- Wheels and tires: forged Marchesini 17-inch wheels with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, 120/70 front and 190/55 rear
- Brakes: Bosch-Brembo cornering ABS, dual 330 mm discs with Stylema calipers
- Rider aids: front and rear radar for adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection, Forward Collision Warning, and a Race riding mode
Ducati describes the 2027 update as a new livery. It doesn't announce new engine, chassis or suspension hardware, so don't expect a different bike underneath.
Two different engine figures
One detail is worth a question at the dealer. Ducati's September release lists the 2027 engine at 170 CV (125 kW) at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm at 9,000 rpm. Ducati's current U.S. Pikes Peak page lists 170 hp (125 kW) at 10,500 rpm and 92 lb-ft (125 Nm) at 8,750 rpm.
Peak power is the same 125 kW in both. CV is metric horsepower, so 125 kW works out to about 168 mechanical horsepower either way. The torque figure and both rpm points differ, though. The U.S. page may still reflect the earlier model, and Ducati hasn't said which figures apply to 2027 American bikes. Ducati's own U.S. page also notes that specifications can vary by market.
What the U.S. page shows today
When we checked on October 8, Ducati's U.S. Pikes Peak page:
- Still showed the earlier "Pikes Peak Livery 1.0" with black spoked wheels
- Listed a $1,295 destination charge, but no Pikes Peak MSRP
- Made no mention of the 2027 livery or Factory Made options
A recheck on October 10 still showed no 2027 livery and no Pikes Peak MSRP.
That's normal while a model year changes over, but it means a U.S. price, arrival date or options list would be guesswork right now.
Before you order one
- Confirm the model year in writing. Make sure the quote says 2027 and shows the new livery if that's what you want.
- Price the options separately. Forged red wheels, carbon parts and luggage can add a lot. Get each one itemized.
- Tell your insurer what's on the bike. Factory options raise the bike's value. If you add parts after purchase, ask whether your policy's accessory or custom-parts coverage limit is high enough to replace them.
- Ask about warranty and roadside terms. Ducati's global release mentions its 4EVER Ducati four-year warranty and a Roadside Assistance program. Ask your dealer for the U.S. terms in writing instead of assuming they match.
What we still don't know
- U.S. MSRP and arrival date for the 2027 Pikes Peak.
- Which Factory Made options are offered in the U.S., and their prices.
- Which torque and rpm figures apply to 2027 U.S. bikes.
