Ducati's hyper-naked got a ground-up rework for the 2025 model year, and that's still the bike in U.S. showrooms. The Streetfighter V4 and V4 S, announced on November 28, 2024, use a revised front frame, a new double-sided swingarm, the Desmosedici Stradale V4 in Panigale configuration, a 6.9-inch TFT and Race eCBS braking. Ducati's U.S. page lists 205 hp and prices from $24,595 for the V4 and $30,995 for the V4 S, plus a $1,295 destination charge.

  • Chassis: revised aluminum front frame and a new double-sided "Hollow Symmetrical" swingarm, replacing the old single-sided arm.

The engine, Panigale-style

Ducati says this is the first time the Streetfighter V4 uses the Desmosedici Stradale "in the same configuration as the Panigale V4." The U.S. rating is 205 hp at 12,650 rpm and 88.3 lb-ft. Ducati quotes a higher figure for some other markets, so stick to the U.S. number when comparing.

A new swingarm and front frame

The most visible change is at the back: the Streetfighter's signature single-sided swingarm gives way to a double-sided Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm. Up front, the aluminum front frame is revised. Ducati says the changes improve stability and feel; those are design goals, not test results.

Race eCBS and DVO

Race eCBS links the brakes: squeeze only the front lever and the system can apply some rear brake to help settle the bike. Ducati sets it up differently for road and track, and not every setting is meant for the street, so check the owner's manual.

Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) is software. It estimates things the bike can't measure directly and feeds them to the rider aids. It doesn't mean extra physical sensors were added.

V4 vs. V4 S

  • Streetfighter V4: fully adjustable Showa fork and Sachs shock, cast wheels. Ducati lists 421 lb wet without fuel.
  • Streetfighter V4 S: electronic Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 fork and shock, forged wheels. Ducati lists 417 lb wet without fuel.

Both get the 6.9-inch TFT and Quick Shift 2.0.

Pricing note

Ducati's U.S. model page lists the base V4 at $24,595, while its launch news page shows $24,995. The V4 S is listed from $30,995, and the model page shows a range up to $32,995 depending on version or color. Destination is $1,295. Confirm the current price with a dealer.

Before you buy

A 205-hp naked bike is a serious machine. Budget for tires, gear and, if you're new to this level of performance, a track day or advanced course. Get an insurance quote early: high-performance bikes often cost more to insure, and your record, age and location matter as much as the bike.

What we don't know

  • Which price is current for the base V4
  • Dealer stock in your area
  • Independent testing of the U.S. bike

Bottom line

The current Ducati Streetfighter V4 and V4 S carry a Panigale-spec 1,103cc V4 rated at 205 hp in the U.S., a new double-sided swingarm, Race eCBS and a 6.9-inch TFT. Ducati's U.S. page lists them from $24,595 and $30,995, plus $1,295 destination.
